The Hyde Park Hot Five has played nearly all the 4th on 53rd celebrations since 1992! Founded by long-time Hyde Parker Stephen Thomas, the band has featured such luminaries as the late great Jimmy Ellis, as well as trumpeter Paul Bass. Under the direction of bassist Andrew Basa, the Hyde Park Hot Five continues to play traditional jazz to audiences all over the Chicagoland.

Ring of Hope's Double Dutch program, established in 2018, includes both boys and girls aged 7-15 years, and has proven to be a valuable tool in guiding at-risk youth towards a positive path while enhancing their athletic abilities. The sport has also provided them with opportunities to travel and compete in various tournaments, fostering discipline and a sense of accomplishment.

The Hyde Park Suzuki Institute was founded in 1998 to bring the joy of music to children through the teaching methods of those who have proven through experience and research the exceptional learning ability of the young child.

Performing pieces from the school repertoire including classical ballet, modern dance, and student choreography.
2:00 P.M.
South Side Suzuki Cooperative, L3C was founded with the mission of creating a music school where students could be part of a vibrant musical community while still allowing teachers the freedoms of running their own independent and unique private studios.

Marsha's Music invites children under 8 and their siblings, parents, grandparents, and caregivers to come to a Fam Jam where we will sing, dance, play percussion instruments and have the joy of family music making!
