Enjoy games including corn hole, clown bean bag toss, Madeline ring toss, Make a Mummy, and watermelon seed spit (while supplies last) along with balloons, bubbles, disc golf, and more.

From 2:35-2:50 p.m. on the community stage, the Hyde Park Community Players will be performing some scenes to whet our appetites for their upcoming show.

The HPCP will be starting the afternoon off with patriotic songs for a sing-along.

12:35-12:50 p.m.
ROH utilizes jump rope as a means to foster healthy living, promote educational excellence and personal development. ROH Double Dutch teaches youths 6-18 basic Double Dutch technique, as well as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, good decision-making, and how to build and maintain healthy relationships.


1:15-1:30 P.M.
Performing pieces from the school repertoire including classical ballet, modern dance, and student choreography.

1:35-1:50 P.M.
Black Girls Jump is a grassroots organization dedicated to empowering communities through Double Dutch. Since our founding, we’ve impacted thousands of lives, preserving a cultural tradition while fostering fitness, connection, and joy.

1:55-2:10 P.M.
The Hyde Park Suzuki Institute was founded in 1998 to bring the joy of music to children through the teaching methods of those who have proven through experience and research the exceptional learning ability of the young child.

2:15-2:30 P.M.
Master Hooptress Williams is a Certified Hoop Instructor, Certified Zumba Instructor, and Certified Twerk Fitness Instructor. Preview her amazing skills HERE.

Founded in January of 2009, the Hyde Park Community Players is a nonprofit, amateur, volunteer organization whose mission is to create compelling theatre by and for residents of the South Side.
